Three generations of builders, one steady standard. We are proud to be a local, family-run firm that homeowners come back to and recommend.
The firm
Family run, with a proven track record
R.J. Gore has been trading since 1972, and became R.J. Gore & Son when Simon Gore joined the business in 1998. Over the years we have built a reputation across Bath and Bristol for quality work and straight dealing.
We cover all aspects of building, from extensions, loft conversions and renovations to stonework and complete new homes. With more than thirty-five years of general building experience behind the team, we bring that knowledge to every project, large or small.
We source our materials locally wherever possible, keep our sites tidy, and finish on time and on budget. It is a simple way of working that has served our customers well for over fifty years.
